In 1965 Jim Kilgore opened Kilgore Karpet Kare, the start of the empire it is today. During 59 years of service, in various locations from Callaway to Panama City Beach, Kilgore’s Flooring has gone through some hard times, but has prevailed. After his death in 2010, his legacy lives on through his daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Brenda and Jessica Kilgore. Brenda has worked for Kilgore’s for over 35 years and Jessica has been around the business since the day she could walk. Kilgores was the first carpet store on the beach, and now sells to most of the condos and private homes in Panama City Beach and surrounding areas.
